Hispanic Heritage Month Speakers

In coordination with the Center for Mexican American Studies and the Visual Arts and Music Department, we bring you information about our speaker series for Hispanic Heritage Month, featuring renowned artists Kathy Vargas, Ramon Lopez-Colon, Pedro Perez, and Rachael Brown.

Mathematician and distinguished professor Dr. William Velez will share stories of his life and tell us why “Math is an Essential Ingredient in Life.”

We are also deeply honored to have a visit from Dr. Mary Romero author of The Maid’s Daughter and recipient of this year’s Americo Paredes Book Award.
