Library orientation & research skills sessions for your students
We welcome your classes to the libraries for lessons and tours by specialists who tailor instruction to your needs. Libraries at most campuses have state-of-the-art classrooms for a hands-on multimedia learning experience. We can also conduct online sessions for distance education courses.

Course Reserves
Each library has a Reserves desk where you can leave books, articles, and other items that you want to make widely available to students in particular classes. Reserve items are checked out for two-hour periods and cannot be removed from the library.
Placing an item on reserve under your name is a simple matter of bringing it to a library and filling out a short form. If you have questions about the process, contact your library or the Pecan Reserves desk at 872-2143.
We can also help you make online readings—such as books and articles from our databases, or pages on the open Web—available to your students through authenticated proxy server access and links in our online catalog. Call our Systems/Distance Education librarian at 872-6420 for details.
